Halla Bint Khalid

Halla Bint Khalid is an artist, children’s book author and illustrator based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Bint Khalidis also a partner in Gharem Studio, a non-profit arts organisation founded by artist Abdulnasser Gharem. Through diverse mediums — writing, illustrating and designing — Bint Khalid communicates powerful societal messages resonating throughout the Saudi community. In 2018, the Museum of Modern Art in Tbilisi, Georgia, hosted the artist’s first international solo exhibition and her artwork also went on display at the Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art.
