US Retail Sales Beat Expectations in June

Sales rose by 0.6 percent in June, boosted in part by higher prices, with apparel leading gains at 2.4 percent.

US retail sales rebounded more than expected in June, but some of the increase likely reflected higher prices for some goods exposed to tariffs.
