Wholesale Sales Manager – Women’s RTW and Accessories – FT
Location: New York, NY
Salary Range: $85,000–$100,000
Reports to: President
The Team:
We are looking for a Sales Manager based in NYC to lead the wholesale sales strategy and business development of the Rachel Comey brand. This is a full time, in-person role in our New York office.
Responsibilities:

Nurture and maintain positive relationships with wholesale accounts and actively seek growth opportunities.

Plan targeted outreach strategies to current and prospective clients, focusing on profitability and steady growth.

Create sales forecasts with senior leadership that align with Company goals.

Own market 4x yearly: Maintain the appointment calendar. Own Joor setup. Recruit, schedule and train market interns and sellers as-needed. Schedule showroom models. Set showroom organization standards.

Work showroom appointments: present collections and build assortments that best represent the brand, and the client’s unique customer profile.

Collaborate with Production and Merchandising to deliver projections on key styles during the market.

Collect orders and manage the entry process into the ERP system.

Offer post-market feedback and analysis based on sales results and in-market experiences.

Deliver monthly selling reports to leadership, including analysis of sales at regional, account, and style level. Deliver adhoc reporting as requested.

Liaise between Production, AR and Logistics to ensure a healthy shipping season.

Communicate with accounts regularly on order confirmation, seasonal order status and delivery timing, reorders, RAs and swaps.

Monitor stock levels of key styles for in-season reorders, collaborate with Merchandising to project need

Maintain ties with key accounts outside of the market with product training, special events or trunk shows, and business development initiatives.

Understand current trends in the fashion marketplace via experience and ongoing research. Uses this to build the overall business.
Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in domestic and international wholesale sales, within the contemporary and/or luxury fashion divisions.

Demonstrates an understanding of the specialty, luxury department, ecom, and international stores landscape. Has existing relationships with key accounts.

Experience with Google Suite/Sheets, Excel, digital wholesale platforms (Joor experience is a plus) and ERP systems (Zedonk experience is a plus).

Expresses ideas clearly and concisely. Possess solid oral and written presentation skills.

Represents the core values and standards of Rachel Comey. Acts as a brand ambassador, communicating our goals and initiatives effectively.
