Christian Dior Australia & New Zealand is offering an unpaid internship for a motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Intern to join our Communications team. This is a fantastic learning opportunity designed to support your studies in Marketing and Communications, or a related field, at an Australian or New Zealand university. As a PR Intern, you'll gain valuable practical experience and insights into the dynamic world of luxury brand communications and media relations at a leading luxury Maison. This role will primarily focus on the social, digital, and print media functions within the Communications department.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Sample Inventory Support:
• Assist with the sample inventory process.
• Support the preparation of product movement and documentation.
• Help maintain showroom presentation.
• Assist in the preparation of sample stocktakes.
• Support the maintenance of samples (e.g., steaming, repairs, dry cleaning).
• Press Coverage Support:
• Support the consolidation of press coverage for reporting.
• Assist in the extraction of data for crediting requests.
• Help with filing print magazines and clippings.
• Social Media Support:
• Assist in the analysis of the Australian talent market.
• Support in the preparation of request forms for dressing requests.
• General Communications Support:
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
• Gain exposure to various aspects of a fully functioning local communications team.
• Participate in the logistical support of PR initiatives, by liaising with retail, logistics and merchandising teams to co-ordinate product requests.

Profile

Qualifications and Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Fashion, Marketing and Communications, or a related field at an Australian or New Zealand university/college.
• Strong academic record.
• Basic understanding of PR principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Location: Head Office - 55 Market Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia.

Hours: 1-2 days a week in accordance with university work experience requirements.
