Christian Dior Couture is seeking a highly creative and technically fluent Copywriter to join its Editorial team. This role requires an exceptional writer with a strong editorial voice, a deep understanding of fashion, craftsmanship and garment construction, and the ability to translate complex creative and technical concepts into compelling, elegant narratives across all platforms.

Key responsibilities
  • Write and edit press releases across all universes of Christian Dior Couture, including Women's, Men's and Couture collections as well as Haute Jewellery, Baby Dior and Dior Home, with a strong sensitivity to brand tone, storytelling and savoir-faire.
  • Develop and oversee editorial copy for digital channels, including newsletters, dior.com and social media (organic and paid), ensuring creative excellence and consistency across all formats.
  • Liaise closely with the French copywriting team to ensure alignment and consistency of tone of voice, terminology and editorial approach across both languages.
  • Oversee and guide a small team of writers, ensuring consistency of language, terminology and editorial standards.
  • Write and construct engaging, in-depth interviews with VIPs, craftspeople, artists and Creative Directors, demonstrating cultural insight, editorial rigour and narrative flow.
  • Write in-depth articles, features and interviews for Dior Magazine, combining creative storytelling with cultural and fashion expertise.
  • Edit and refine all texts in line with Dior's editorial guidelines, ensuring precision, elegance and clarity.
  • Coordinate internal approval processes, translations and proofreading in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Edit and adapt translations from original French into English, ensuring nuance, technical accuracy and editorial sophistication are preserved.


Profil

Required Profile
  • Minimum of six years' experience in editorial writing, press, publishing or communications within a major luxury fashion or lifestyle brand.
  • University degree in literature, communications, journalism or a related field.
  • Outstanding writing and editorial skills with a strong creative point of view.
  • Proven ability to editorialise a subject and transform creative direction into compelling narrative content.
  • Excellent knowledge of fashion history, garment construction, materials, techniques and technical fashion language.
  • Strong experience conducting and shaping high-level interviews, with the ability to engage senior creative talent and translate dialogue into compelling editorial content.
  • Highly rigorous and precise, with a strong eye for detail and sensitivity to language.
  • Independent, proactive and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of Dior's history, heritage and creative codes.
  • Keen interest in trends, contemporary culture, art and current events.
