Job Description:
FIT is seeking an industry professional to join the Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing department as an Adjunct Instructor. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with deep roots in the beauty industry, specifically within product strategy, product development, and brand management. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about student development and capable of translating high-level corporate experience into classroom learning.
Adjunct instructors deliver relevant course material, assess student performance, provide guidance and assistance to students both in and out of the classroom, and submit grades on time. Course descriptions are available in the online catalog .

This is a part-time position, adjunct teaching position beginning in Fall 2026. Review of applications will commence immediately and continue until the position is filled. The department will keep this posting open to create a pool of candidates for potential future adjunct assignments. Compensation
The UCE-FIT Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) governs the compensation, benefits, and conditions of employment.
$89.98 per hour based on minimum qualifications. The final rate, step and appointment rank are determined by a candidate's ability to demonstrate that they meet the respective school's additional criteria for hiring "above the first step," in accordance with the CBA Adjunct Salary Schedules (pp 88-89) .

The physical requirement for this position will require occasional sitting, constant standing, occasional bending, frequent walking, and occasionally lifting 10 lbs. or less.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in the cosmetics and/or fragrance industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in cosmetics and fragrance marketing or related areas within the beauty industry.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrated passion for educating and mentoring students pursuing careers in the beauty and fragrance industries.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex industry concepts into accessible learning experiences.
- Ability to connect marketing theory with real-world industry practice.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
