The Merchandise Planning Retail (Full-Price) department plays a pivotal role in the success of the HUGO BOSS Retail business. It is responsible for translating the corporate strategy into actionable merchandise plans and achieving defined targets. The department ensures the Retail channels are inspiring consumers by creating clear brand messages whilst meeting their needs by delivering the right product at the right place at the right time.
We are looking for a passionate Senior Business Professional in the Global Merchandising Development team to actively drive business performance, change and growth in close collaboration with multiple interfaces, Buying/ Merchandising/Trading teams and the Markets.

It is responsible for translating the corporate strategy into actionable merchandise plans and achieving defined targets. The department ensures the Retail channels are inspiring consumers by creating clear brand messages whilst meeting their needs by delivering the right product at the right place at the right time.
We are looking for a passionate Senior Business Professional in the Global Merchandising Development team to actively drive business performance, change and growth in close collaboration with multiple interfaces, Buying/ Merchandising/Trading teams and the Markets.
What you can expect:
- Take end-to-end ownership of all SALE-related merchandising execution for EMEA Retail B&M and Global Ecom- from briefing & timeline creation to target setting, product listings, analysis, communication, trade reviews, recap and concrete optimization measures.
- Create transparency, actively steer business to improve merchandise performance globally and drive rigorous execution of Merchandising strategies with an end-to-end focus across the full collection lifecycle
- Ensure a consistent setup and roll-out of merchandise strategies across all channels globally by aligning concrete actions, tools and processes with regional Planning, Buying and Merchandising teams and acting as a day-to-day sparring partner
- Ensure the right balance of data-driven and qualitative/customer centric business steering with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Ensure an increasing share of an effective, global and market-driven retail buy
- Identify and realize global business potentials to drive top line growth
- Lead cross-functional alignments with key stakeholders (e.g. Regional/Hub Merchandising / Business Units / Marketing / BP&A/Controlling)
- Drive and/or lead overall strategic improvement projects for merchandise optimization across all regions, channels & BUs. Drive change management & strategic thinking
- Functional Leadership within the team or towards the Regional Planning, Buying & Merchandising teams worldwide

Your profile:
- Successfully completed studies in Business Administration, Retail/Fashion/Textile Management or a comparable field
- 7+ years of experience in Controlling and/or Retail or Merchandise Management in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced analytical skills with strong understanding of retail performance figures and retail/merchandising processes and strategies
- Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated, with the ambition to drive initiatives and change to achieve company targets; experience in change management
- Strong time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills
- Proficient user of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
