Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Vice President of Performance Marketing to lead and unify our marketing functions. This person will be responsible for setting the overarching marketing vision, driving profitable growth, and ensuring a cohesive brand experience across all channels. The Senior Vice President of Performance Marketing will serve as a key member of the leadership team, partnering closely with founders and cross-functional leaders to scale the business, deepen customer connection, and maximize impact across the full marketing funnel.
Core Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Establish data-driven decision-making frameworks by owning and evolving the company’s end-to-end marketing strategy and balancing brand building and performance-driven growth.
- Translate company goals into clear marketing priorities, roadmaps, and KPIs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing leadership team, including the Director of Brand Marketing and Director of Growth Marketing.
- Foster strong collaboration across Creative, Merchandising, Product, Technology, and Customer Experience.
Brand & Creative Excellence
- Champion brand vision, voice, and positioning, ensuring consistency and differentiation across all customer touchpoints.
- Oversee brand campaigns, storytelling, content, PR, and partnerships to build long-term brand equity.
- Ensure creative output is customer-centric, data-informed, and aligned with business objectives.
Growth, Performance & Revenue Impact
- Oversee acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing strategies, including paid media, SEO, CRM/email/SMS, and conversion optimization.
- Partner closely with Analytics and Finance to manage budgets, forecast impact, and measure ROI.
- Drive experimentation and testing across channels to unlock new growth opportunities while maintaining efficiency.
Team & Operational Excellence
- Set clear goals, expectations, and performance standards across the marketing organization.
- Build scalable processes, tools, and ways of working to support growth.
- Identify future talent needs and play a key role in hiring and organizational design.
Minimum Qualifications
- 15+ years of marketing experience, with significant leadership experience in a consumer, retail, fashion, or e-commerce business.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Proven track record of balancing brand building with performance marketing at scale.
- Experience leading senior leaders and managing multiple functional areas within marketing.
- Strong strategic thinker with the ability to execute and operate at both high and detailed levels.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, customer acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and brand storytelling.
- Highly collaborative leader with excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Data-driven mindset with comfort using insights and analytics to guide decision-making.
Compensation
Compensation for the role will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. The estimated annual compensation for this role is $200,000+; classified as full-time exempt and not eligible for overtime.
