Position Overview
The Senior Executive Assistant to the Head of Global RL Home is a highly trusted partner who operates with autonomy, sound judgment, and a broad enterprise perspective. Building on the scope of an Executive Assistant role, this position functions as a strategic enabler for the Head of Global RL Home, ensuring seamless execution of priorities across a complex, fast-paced, and globally distributed organization. This role goes beyond administrative excellence to proactively anticipate needs, connect dots across teams, and drive effectiveness for the Head of Global RL Home and the broader Home leadership agenda. The Senior Executive Assistant serves as an extension of leadership-balancing discretion, influence, and operational rigor-while acting as a role model and informal leader within the broader Business Support community.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Executive Partnership
• Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Head of Global RL Home, enabling focus on highest impact priorities through forward looking planning, sequencing, and prioritization of time and resources.
• Maintain deep awareness of business priorities, key stakeholders, and cross functional dependencies to proactively flag risks, opportunities, and misalignments.
• Act with autonomy and discretion on behalf of the Head of Global RL Home, exercising judgment in decision making, communications, and problem resolution. Advanced Calendar, Workflow & Information Management
• Own complex, global calendar management with a strategic lens, balancing short term demands with long term business objectives and travel considerations.
• Proactively prepare leaders for meetings by ensuring agendas, materials, context, and follow ups are clear, timely, and aligned to outcomes.
• Establish and continuously improve systems for tracking milestones, deliverables, and key communications across the Home leadership ecosystem. Communication, Materials & Executive Readiness
• Prepare, edit, and elevate executive level materials including presentations, briefs, agendas, and internal communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and executive presence.
• Synthesize information from multiple sources to support decision making and meeting readiness.
• Represent the Head of Global RL Home with professionalism and credibility to internal and external stakeholders. Business Operations & Financial Oversight
• Oversee and manage travel, expenses, and invoices with a high degree of accuracy, foresight, and fiscal responsibility; monitor trends and flag issues proactively.
• Provide occasional support for Home Leadership Team travel and logistics, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple leaders and priorities.
• Partner closely with Finance, HR, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of administrative and operational processes impacting the Home business.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency across executive and team operations. Leadership, Culture & Team Enablement
• Serve as a cultural steward for the Global RL Home organization, supporting leadership driven initiatives, team engagement, development programming, and offsites.
• Act as an informal leader and mentor to other Executive Assistants and Business Support professionals, sharing best practices and providing guidance without formal people management responsibility.
• Work closely with other Home and Hospitality Executive Assistants to plan and execute team activities, while providing back up support during absences to ensure continuity.
• Coordinate onboarding and integration of new leaders or team members, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience. Special Projects & Problem Solving
• Lead and support special projects requiring cross functional coordination, independent judgment, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Anticipate patterns, assess broader business implications, and propose solutions to non routine challenges.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Experience
• Significant experience supporting senior executives in a complex, fast paced, and preferably global organization.
• Demonstrated progression in scope, autonomy, and impact within an Executive Assistant or Senior Business Support role. Core Capabilities
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; demonstrated ability to create polished executive level materials.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow through, with the ability to manage competing priorities seamlessly.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand how leadership priorities connect across teams and functions.
• Proven ability to anticipate needs, operate independently, and exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision.
• High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information. Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
• Acts as a trusted partner to senior leaders and a respected resource to peers.
• Communicates clearly and effectively across levels, cultures, and functions, requiring tact, diplomacy, and influence.
