At Sorona, Expanding Use Cases for Innovative Fibres

Sorona is a high-performance fibre, with 37 percent of the polymer made up of renewable plant-based ingredients. It uses up to 40 percent less energy and emits up to 63 percent less greenhouse gas than entirely non-renewable nylon and its potential applications for the apparel industry are expanding. According to a 2020 report by consultancy BCG and Fashion for Good, sustainable innovation will cost between $20 billion and $30 billion every year for the next decade.
